Rosedale Funeral Home has teamed up with the UK’s leading dog welfare charity – Dogs Trust – to promote a service which ensures dogs are looked after in the event of their owners death
Staff from our Attleborough, Diss and Wymondham funeral homes visited the Snetterton based rehoming centre to see how the dogs are cared for
Many of the dog owners we speak to are very concerned about the welfare of their pet once they are gone and as dog lovers ourselves we’re keen to put minds at rest by spreading the word about the Canine Care Card
It’s very straightforward
All owners have to do is fill out a registration card and leave instructions that they would like their pet to be cared for by the Dogs Trust.
The charity then guarantees it will rehome or care for their dog for the rest of its life
Promising never to destroy a healthy dog
Dogs Trust cares for around 16,000 dogs across the country each year through its network of 19 rehoming centres.
In common with wills and pre-arranged funerals, the Dogs Trust service is another way of minimising distress for the family members left behind.
